Alsviķu
manor acquired its name from von Alsvigu (Halswig) family, which has
managed the estate during the Livonian Order (1576.-1586.). 1858.gada Alsviķu mansion building in the list referred to Mr brick house with a tile roof. Initially, the manor had a wooden building. Masonry buildings began to build in the 19th century and one of the oldest manor inn could be a building.
The castle was built 1888th - 1898th year.
Are relatively well-preserved manor house. This is a large square brick building with a shed roof part ,bridge from the north and the closed courtyard. Barn was built in 1846th year, and there lived cows and horses.
1927 - land division during its meeting in the house left gave Farmer Visteram, but the good sisters rented Smith.
1939th after 2 years of repairing the palace was opened for ineducable girls.
During the Second World War, German troops occupied the castle part, but after step 2. World War II was a children's home and later boarding school. Turn 12.SPTVS was opened in 1966, but the later 98th Alsviķu dedicated professional technical school, which eliminated the 1991 June 21.
Since September 1991 Alsviķu Manor operates the National Rehabilitation Center for young people - people with disabilities.
