1922th for composer J. Vitols Latvian government gave a big merit of Latvian music in the development of former Aldara houses, ponds, half of the manor garden and a small agricultural parcels. Since then, twenty years, the composer of Annie in their spouses' Anniņas "spent the summer and often festive Holidays. Autumn 1944th Vītolu couple went back in exile. In 1961 there was arranged Joseph Vitola Memorial Museum, restored the composer's work istaba.1988.g. April fire that killed a large part of the memorial items. Now "Anniņas" have been restored, re-working of the composer's memorial museum, decorated in J. Vitols working room Many eminent skaņraża personal objects and photos donated the museum's sister Annie Vitols children.
Surrounding many cultural and historical sites: the Livonian Order castle ruins, Woolf baronial mansion complex with more than 10 buildings and parks, picturesque natural landscapes, geological sites - dolomite cliffs, coastal kritenes, or "ūdensrijējs" - the river that disappears underground, folk poet OVaciesa trails. Every summer in July is J. Vitols Track Day.
