Darmstadt pine plantation composed of more than 120-year-old trees, and currently there is a public interest in botanical barring healthy 5.3 ha in area. Here are viewed in appearance crippled German pine grove, the only Latvia.
Pine was sought to implant the early 20th century. However, it is a failed attempt calling because pine is not suitable for Latvian climatic conditions.
