Fountain - Memorial stone poet Auseklis and 1. Latvian Song festival main
conductor Indriķis Zīlem discovered in 2000 16 September Ausekļa 150-year anniversary event. It created sculptors Zigrīda and Juris Rapas.
Auseklis (real name Mikelis Krogzemis) was born in the 1850th On 18th in September, but died 1879th On 6th February in St. Petersburg. He buried Alojas cemetery, where after 19 years - 1898th  was installed the monument.

Indriķis Zile was born 1841st on May 19, or the old style calendar -7. May and died 1919th On 15th July Tartu. 1873rd On 26th-29. June together with John Bētiņš was the first Latvian Song Celebration main conductor. More information can be read here.
