Built in the 18th century among the 1753rd - 1772nd years of Viļānu manor ground. Work is financed by Rick laird Mikhail Viļānu Sun. Archangel
Michael's Catholic Church, together with the Order of Bernardian monastery is an important part of Latvian sacral architecture. Monastic complex was built after monasteries bernardian traditional model with an internal courtyard. 1832nd The Russian government closed the convent, and the activity restored after almost 100 years - 1924th year. During
World War II was blown up monastic buildings and churches ruined
towers, but after the war was renewed, and now the whole church in a
number of paintings, sculpture and applied art monuments.
