Information
The church was built in 1750th and was made of bricks with a wooden tower and built by Gidenss Zass, so it acquired the name Zasas Church. Around the church situated World War I dead German soldiers graves with stone crosses. Thanks to intellectual and savvy people in the Soviet time the building was not used for other purposes.
The church is notable for organ, built by the famous Jekabpils organ builder Andrew Sūnākslis that learn the secrets of organ building studied in Warsaw
Currently taking place in both the Lutheran Church and the Catholic church worship.
Visitors should note that the church is a public interest protected cultural monument!
