Information
Wooden church built in Zilupe 1883th year. The Catholic church was founded in 1929 and took care of their Briģu Dean V. Cercins. Over time, the church transformed, enlarged. It built the two towers, two sacristies, sheeting a new boards. The church has three altars. Heart of Jesus in the large altar painting, but the side altar Sun. Anton and paintings of the Virgin Mary (Schoenberg artist's work). The church was consecrated Bishop J. Rancāns 1934th on July 1 for Holy Heart of Jesus honor.
